Accessibility statement and compliance levels

Obliged bodies must publish an accessibility statement giving the compliance state: fully compliant (100% of applicable criteria), partially compliant or non-compliant. It lists inaccessible content, exemptions, a contact method and appeal routes. See also this site’s statement.

At European level, the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) has applied since 28 June 2025 to certain private-sector products and services and relies on EN 301 549.
